A missing item from home delivery last night. Phone wait rather long- so tried the new WhatsApp system, sent order number, my details and complaint. Message in inbox this morning, refund all sorted. Congrats Tesco for using this new, convenient technology!

Don't Waste Your Time With These time wasters
I placed a first groceries order for delivery today and guess, they just send me a message cancelling it. No explanation no apologies.
This is disgraceful with complete lack of ethics.
Carry-on this way & you are on the right track to ruin.

Thank you Tesco
Wow seems like a lot of people only leave a review when they have a complaint! I’m shocked and surprised the rating is so low and so many bad reviews for Tesco. Tesco is my favourite supermarket. I love the quality of their food and their prices are very reasonable. Other supermarkets sell cheap low quality food or they are so overpriced it’s ridiculous. The staff are usually very friendly and helpful and it’s usually always easy to find what you’re looking for in store. I like the Clubcard points and vouchers, too! No supermarket is perfect and can make errors occasionally but in my opinion, Tesco is the best supermarket out of them all. Thank you Tesco, I and many others do appreciate you!

I purchased a Toshiba TV from a tesco…
I purchased a Toshiba TV from a tesco store 7 months ago. Last week the TV decided to break so I contacted tesco customer service using the number on the receipt and was cut off twice during transfers. I decided to take the TV back to the same store I purchased it from and request a refund as is my right by UK law. The TV was under a year old and the fault, as tested by the staff in store, was something internal in the TV and was common with the Toshiba brand. I was told that a refund would not be possible without a code. A code that is issued by their customer service support on the number I had already dialed twice and had been hung up on. So I called again, this time whilst in store and was told by the agent on the phone that under no circumstances would I be issued a refund without sending the TV in for repairs, repairs that could take 10 weeks. I repeated that I was already in the store with the TV and wanted a refund. The agent said its not tesco policy to issue refund and if I didn't want to send the TV in for repairs, then there was no thing he could do for me.

Under UK law I am well within my rights to a refund for a faulty item. The TV itself was 7 months old from the date of purchase and as the store staff had tested it and found that the fault was internal and quite common to those tvs and the Toshiba brand, a refund should've been issued immediately. Instead I was argued with, laughed at over the phone and lectured to on tesco policy.

Awful company.

theyve moved absolutely everything…
theyve moved absolutely everything around in the shop it makes me so anxious i knew where everything was and now i dont im autistic and i hate the change especially when its massive like not just one isle but nearly them all in different places apart from the last two isles are still the same. i dont want to go back and one lady every time i gone there always looks at me grumpy and loads of times i went there there was no tills only self checkout so if people have a big amount of food or dont know how to do self checkout they cant do anything but wait ages for someone to open a till.

I’ve had enough…
19/07/22 is the last time I’m go to any Tesco, Asda will have to shut down before I go back to Tesco. Not only are they selling poor quality food in the Tesco Express on Oxhill road Birmingham but I’m absolutely sick of being accosted by the effing homeless! Half of them are homeless and half of them are undercover police/informants, because why else is it ok to have up to 6 homeless outside an express store.

Let me tell you what happened shall I?

I went to Tesco Express Oxhil road, this skeleton face homeless Becky comes up to me asking for change, when I said I only have my card she asked if I can get her a packet of twirls for a pound. When I repeated the word “twirl” because I couldn’t believe the CHEEK! She said yes, walked in front of me, went into Tesco, picked up a packet of twirls and shoved them in my hand and walked off. Even white homeless think negros are stupid. She model walked out of Tesco like she was certain I was gonna take my government uplift and cater to her sweet tooth. I threw them on the shelf and I told told her loudly, I’d rather help my own, because we all have family that need our help right now. You feed those vultures Tesco because they are not my problem. Imagine, we went through slavery, and a Becky has the nerve to beg us, Make it make sense.

It was only yesterday so you can watch the play back on cctv, the manager was mopping the floor as I entered the store. SICK OF THE CHEEKY BEGGARS OUTSIDE TESCO THEY ARE NOT MY PROBLEM.

It’s not the only one either, look at the state of Aston Lane Tesco. They stand there like pillars at the entrance.

Tesco delivery officially the worst…
Tesco delivery has officially the worst online grocery delivery and customer services.
We have paid 6mth membership fee for delivery. Spent hrs basketing order, booked for first available slot 17/Jul/22 9-10pm. Got text @5.30pm confirming order & delivery 9-10pm. Got email at 10pm - order cancelled without reason and rescheduled for Mon 18/7 9-10pm. Customer services are like Robots, they apologise, read from scrip. Made special trip late at night to get essentials. Anyway, you would think they will make extra effort to ensure rescheduled delivery happens. Nope. No delivery, no email/text and they CANCELLED DELIVERY FOR SECOND DAY, without reason and no notifications. Only found out when my wife phoned up and again spoke to standard Custop Serv Robots - they have no authority at all and they are not allowed to think - just follow written scripts. And they say the small print in contact states deliveries are not guaranteed. And BTW they take money from Cr card and only refund 3-5 days later. So frustrated with Tesco. DELIVERIES CANCELLED FOR 2 DAYS RUNNING, despite being a subscription member. So why are we paying Fee? AND MR. TESCO, WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO FEED MY FAMILY? The fridge is empty!
Further, they won’t cancel our delivery subscription, apparently the script says we are tied in for 6 mhs. Worst service ever! We never had any problems with Morrisons previously. Will move to Morrison or ASDA, but I suppose Mr Tesco don’t care!

Update: 19July
OMG - THINGS GET WORSE WITH TESCO!
Since Tesco could not deliver our order Sun 17/7, they rebooked for Mon 18/7, which again they cancelled without any notification. When my wife called, call centre could only reschedule it to Wed 20/7. Having let down twice and having no food in the house, she cancelled the order completely,
which was confirmed by email. My wife went to stores today TUE 19/7 and done a complete shop. GUESS WHAT, Although Tesco did not have any Tue slot, we therefore cancelled order, Guess what, TESCO DRIVER TURNS UP AT THE DOOR today Tue 19/7 with four crates which he had to take back. YES UNBELIVABLE.
MR TESCO MANGT, please get down from your high horses and sort out the issues at ground level! and stop wasting our time. You have lost three of our valuable accounts - but I suppose you don't care!

Don't buy household goods from Tesco
I bought a padded chair from the Tesco store at March having previously bought the last one at the Holbeach branch. When I put them together for my wife (who has Parkinson's disease) I I noticed that they had only included two plastic feet for one chair and none for the second chair. I saw that the make was slightly different between the two seats but the padding for the seat was exactly the same. I contacted Tesco and confirmed the product number with one which I had the receipt for and gave the Tesco Clubcard for the second one which I had thrown away the receipt for. Using the Clubcard details they found a copy of the second receipt. After a few calls I was told that they didn't have any spare feet for the chairs and that I had to go back to the stores where I bought the chairs from. Despite me telling them about my wife's Parkinson's they only gave me the option to go back to the stores for a refund or exchange. My wife also has COPD as well as other complicated medical issues and I cannot afford to take time out or the diesel costs to go to the stores to resolve the issues that Tesco were responsible for. They made no offer for compensation or refund of travel costs that I will incur. The feet of the chairs are now very scratched and after spending circa £500 on groceries each calendar month I am very disappointed with their total lack of service.

Appalling service!!!!!
Appalling service!!!!!
I’m a very very unhappy customer. My order was supposed to be delivered between 15.00 and 16.00 on the 18/7/22. I received messages stating that my delivery would be delayed until 17.44 and then 17.55.
I contacted Tesco customer services on 18/7/22 - 18:14 18/7/22 - 18:19 18/7/22 - 20.09 and 18/7/22 - 20:14 The Tesco van broke down, hopefully delivery will be done 23.00. Also I couldn’t check the delivery information on My Orders as it states delivered 😖😖😖😤😤😤😡😡😡. The cost of the groceries have been deducted from my account on the 18/7/22 - I DONT have my groceries.
I contacted Tesco 3 times on the 19/7 with promises of call backs from managers - NOBODY has called back or given an explanation.
Tesco delivery finally on 19/7, 10.45. No apology no explanation. I DID NOT accept the order.
Now I have to wait 3 - 5 days to get a refund.
TESCO UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
